Kurzdarstellung

The main goal of ISDEGO is to integrate the principles of SDG11 - Make cities and rural areas inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable - into all key bachelors disciplines in the transport and information area in Ukraine & Moldavia universities (PC), which will change educational trajectories, prepare leaders with new way thinking and will allow graduates to become more employable in the labour market.

Planned activities and results:

  • Based on European experience, the new topics/modules and competencies and new forms of learning will be developed.
  • Curriculum Evaluation System (CES) for evaluating bachelor's programs by associated partners will be made. CES will contain at least 7 criteria and identify missing components for the implementation of the SDG11 principles, eliminate the mismatch between the employers' requirements and Universities offer.
  • Each PC in cooperation with the EU partners develop 2 Micro-Credentials in line with the developed Micro-Credential concept. These fulfil labour market needs and support the societal mission of education of the university in respective regions.
  • Each PC university will open Sustainable Urban Transport Laboratory (SUTLab), 6 in total.

Special attention will be paid to sufficiently deep information and communication technologies knowledge, taking into account the SDGs integration. The target groups benefiting from the project in the short term are students and teachers: and in the long term - сity-forming organizations, municipalities, business sector and population of cities and rural areas.
