The nearest airport is Hamburg, from there you can take the train to Wismar, which takes about 2.5 hours.
For train connections, the pages of Deutsche Bahn are recommended.

Approach via A20 (Lübeck - Rostock):
- Exit Wismar-Mitte, turn left towards Wismar
- Roundabout 2nd exit (Wismar Zentrum)
- 3rd set of traffic lights, turn left (signposted Wismar University)
- After 1.3 km turn right, look for a parking space and follow the signs
