These bodies represent students’ interests in dealings with the university, faculty and department management.
They also provide support and advice on all matters relating to your studies and organise a wide range of activities throughout the semester. We’re always on the lookout for new members – so get in touch and join us!

Faculty committees
Faculty Council
The Faculty Council is responsible for all tasks assigned to it by the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Higher Education Act and the Constitution of Wismar University of Applied Sciences, and deliberates on all matters directly affecting the faculties.
The student body may appoint representatives and thus help shape the development of the faculties.
