MARSIM - International Marine Simulator Forum Conference

8 - 10 September 2026

Welcome!

MARSIM was founded in 1978 as one of the first international conferences for maritime simulation by the International Marine Simulation Forum (IMSF). The regular meeting of leading innovators in the maritime simulation industry will take place in 2026 in Rostock-Warnemünde (Germany) at the Maritime Simulation Centre Warnemünde (MSCW) - an internationally renowned location for maritime education and training.

The MSCW forms the centrepiece of maritime training at the department of Maritime Studies, Systems Engineering and Logistics at Wismar University of Applied Sciences and has been in operation since 1998. Since then, numerous modernisations and expansions have taken place in order to keep the simulators at the cutting edge of technology and to always meet the training requirements.

MARSIM 2026 - aims and objectives

MARSIM 2026 aims to bring together international representatives from a wide range of simulators and give them the opportunity to strengthen and expand the existing network.

The aim is to facilitate the exchange of expertise on current key topics and requirements for simulators. Numerous presentations and workshops with plenty of room for constructive discussions will be organised for this purpose.

The prepared results are to be incorporated into future developments in the industry, e.g. to improve the use and specifications of simulator standards in training and further education.
