The focus is on the future-oriented sectors of information and communication technology (ICT) as well as renewable energies and hydrogen technologies. Specialist presentations, practice-oriented workshops and discussion forums provide a space for new inspiration, innovative ideas and networking between businesses, research institutions and students. In doing so, skilled workers are inspired at an early stage by future-oriented topics and innovation development in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
The State Technology Conference is organised regularly by the Strategy Council for Business and Science in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Appointed by the state government in 2010, the Strategy Council supports the state’s innovation policy and is committed to expanding technological and innovation expertise, as well as fostering close cooperation between business and academia.
This year’s conference is being organised jointly by the Chambers of Industry and Commerce of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Tourism and Labour of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Wismar University of Applied Sciences.
The technical design of the thematic workshops is supported by the Leibniz Institute for Plasma Science and Technology (INP) and the Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics Research (IGD).
All members of the university community are warmly invited to this event, including both students and lecturers.
The event will be held mainly in German.
