Research group Prof. Raab-Düsterhöft: the main research objective is on forensic analysis of database systems and social media data. 

We actually analyse how data from social media sources can be integrated into an environment for a digital forensic investigation process and the underlying model. Social media information will combined with retrieved information from different forensic tools, e.g. X-Ways, Autopsy or database forensic investigation information. The retrieved forensic information as well as the investigation steps will be time-based stored into a database; so that the chain of custody is supported and time-based questions of an investigation can be used for an investigation documentation.
