AUTSYM – International Symposium on Automatic Control

The international automation symposium AUTSYM was founded in 1996 under the patronage of Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Winfried Schauer and has since been held every three years on the campus of Wismar University of Applied Sciences.
It is currently organised under the scientific direction of Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Olaf Simanski.

The tradition will continue in 2027 with the 10th AUTSYM.

Objectives of the Symposium

The event is intended to promote the exchange of information and experience between experts from science and industry. The symposium will focus on

  • mechatronics
  • Medical technology

In addition, the following research results and topics will be discussed:
