Computational Engineering and Automation
The research group CEA (Computational Engineering and Automation) is an interdisciplinary research team from the departments of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science as well as Mechanical Engineering/Process and Environmental Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering at Wismar University of Applied Sciences.
One of three key research areas at Wismar University of Applied Sciences comprises the fields of life science, automation and information technology.

AUTSYM
International Symposium on Automatic Control
The AUTSYM conference, organized by the research group CEA, promotes the transfer of knowledge and the exchange of experience between experts from science and industry. The symposium focuses on topics in the fields of general automation technology, mechatronics and medical technology.
The next symposium will take place from 5th to 7th May 2027 at Wismar University of Applied Sciences.
